Tiana Bayside Facility

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County (CCE) has partnered with the Town of Southampton to develop an outreach and education center at the Tiana Bayside Facility in Hampton Bays. This unique location coupled with CCE Marine Program’s experience with youth education create a learning environment like no other. The facility now hosts a multitude of seasonal programming focused on marine science coupled with STEAM Art + Education. Summer programs (small camps) include Bayside Adventures, ArtSea and Marine Art + Science Summer Program (mini camps). Additional seasonal programming includes explorations into the neighboring coastal and marine habitats including the salt marshes, seagrass meadows, mud flats and ocean beach. The facility also hosts a coastal plant nursery and shellfish grow out area to aid in local shoreline and shellfish restoration projects.
